About the Cassandra Institute

The Cassandra Institute is a center for applied foresight: an effort to make neglected warnings count before it’s too late. We develop integrated tools and frameworks that help people meet complexity with clarity at the intersection of thought, design, and public life.

Our focus spans three domains:

• Civic literacy, to resist disinformation and anti-democratic policy.
• Semantic engineering, to ground knowledge and systems in human meaning.
• Human-first technology, to prototype and support tools that serve dignity and resilience.

Though diverse in form, these efforts share a common foundation: built for people, designed to interconnect, and guided by foresight.
